I was born and raised in the Great Lakes State of Michigan and have been here all my life except for a short stint in North Carolina. Throughout my childhood, I found wonder in the created world both natural and from human influence.  Although I never went to school for art, I kept a creative mindset found and dabbled in illustration and then photography. Whatever media I value on the power of observation and emphasis on one’s ability to be creative in any surroundings and with any type of materials available.
